Back to the drawing board…not the chalk board…

Education CareersFor a teacher of some years standing in the UK, a corporate training course could well be life changing.  When a teacher is ready to take their career to the next level or feels they have the passion and drive to succeed further, participation in a rewarding, yet challenging, independent course of training, can only be advantageous.

Most corporate training staff have experienced pretty well all the challenges the modern teaching practitioner can expect.  They will encourage teachers to learn from each other.  Any experiences that individuals can bring to the table during group work sessions, paired work or class discussion will be encouraged.  Teachers on the Corporate training courses will be able to observe each other and evaluate their own abilities in comparison to others.

It’s important for long-serving teachers to challenge their existing perceptions.  They will be encouraged to leave sessions with new skills and techniques for the classroom.  It’s crucial that, even though Teachers must thrive in an environment where it’s necessary to “take control”, their students also enjoy their lessons and love to learn.  It’s interesting to note that surveys have confirmed that teachers who attend Corporate Training courses have been able to dramatically reduce truancy and exclusions at their schools.

Learning outside the classroom for students and teachers can be mutually enjoyable and productive.  Corporate Training courses offer new ideas about how and where to take students, or just a basic understanding of how outdoor learning can work. Apart from improving academic performance by up to 30%, it’s possible to have a great day out, learn skills and enjoy each other’s company.
